My Lot Pricing Isn’t Working Print

Overview

SellStack 365 Cannabis supports dynamic pricing at the Lot level, allowing administrators to override the default product price based on the specific Product Lot being sold. If Lot pricing isn't displaying or applying correctly, this guide outlines common causes and how to resolve them.

Checklist for Lot Pricing Functionality

  • Lot Has Assigned Price: Lot pricing in SellStack is automatic — if a Product Lot has a valid price configured, it will be used. If no Lot price is set, the system reverts to the base product price. There is no separate setting to enable or disable Lot pricing.
  • Price Group Logic Applies: Confirm that the customer’s Business is assigned to the appropriate price group. Lot pricing can be scoped to specific customer classes or groups, and mismatches may prevent the price from being applied.
  • Inventory Channel Is Correct: Pricing may vary by channel (e.g., retail, wholesale). If a Lot is tied to a different inventory channel than the customer, pricing rules might not apply as expected.

How to Check Pricing in the Admin Panel

  1. Go to Products > [Select Product] > Lots
  2. Select the Lot in question
  3. Check the Pricing or Lot configuration section
  4. Confirm the correct price is entered, and it matches the customer’s channel and price group

What Customers See

  • If Lot selection is visible: customers will see the Lot price displayed next to each option
  • If Lot selection is hidden: SellStack assigns a Lot automatically at Add to Cart, and the Lot price (if defined) is used
  • If no Lot-level price is set: the system uses the base product price

ERP Pricing Conflicts

SellStack manages its own pricing independently of Business Central 365 Cannabis. ERP pricing logic does not override Lot pricing unless specifically integrated. Ensure both systems are aligned if you're managing pricing in parallel.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Use the impersonate user feature to preview storefront pricing from the customer’s perspective
  • Ensure expired, disabled, or out-of-stock Lots aren’t masking the expected result
  • Verify tax or rounding rules aren’t visually altering the final displayed amount
