The product’s Taxonomy section offers a view of the taxon (categories) a product is associated with. Initially, a product is associated with only one taxon - one that was set in the Item Category Code field in Dynamics 365 upon product creation (see picture 35). Unlike in Dynamics 365, products in SellStack can belong to multiple taxons. In a situation where an Item Category Code is updated and changed in Dynamics 365, a product will be connected to a new taxon, while the connection with the previous taxon remains. The connection with the previous taxon isn’t removed automatically. It can be removed only manually by unchecking a checkbox next to the desired taxon in the product taxons list. In the shop, products are visible in their respective taxons, but also in all their parent taxons. In an example shown in picture 35, a given product is visible in the 500mg Cartridge, Cartridge, and Top taxons.
