What Happens After a Customer Places an Order?

Once a customer completes the checkout process on SellStack 365 Cannabis, the order is confirmed and stored within the system. An order number is generated, and the customer is shown a confirmation page with a summary of their order, including selected products, product Lots (if visible), quantities, pricing, and shipping or pickup method.

The customer also receives a confirmation email containing the order details.

Where to View Order Status

As an administrator, you can review incoming orders in the Admin Panel under Orders. Each order entry shows:

  • Order Number
  • Customer and Business
  • Items Ordered (including specific Product Lots if applicable)
  • Total Price
  • Order Status (e.g., Completed, Cancelled)
  • Payment Status
  • ERP Sync Status

Understanding Payment Status

Payment statuses are visible per order and reflect whether the order has been paid or still requires payment.

  • Automatically Updated Status: For payments processed through Aeropay ACH Payments or Authorize.Net, payment status is updated automatically when the gateway confirms a successful transaction.
  • Manual Status Update Required: If the order is paid by EFT, wire transfer, cash, or offline invoice, an administrator must manually update the payment status in the order detail view.

ERP Sync Status

Each order also includes a status indicator for whether it has been synchronized with the ERP system (Microsoft Business Central).

  • TO_CREATE – Order is pending submission to the ERP
  • CREATED – Order has been successfully submitted and acknowledged by the ERP
  • FAILED – There was an error pushing the order to the ERP (an error message will be shown)

These statuses are managed automatically by SellStack’s synchronization engine and usually reflect ERP sync within 60 seconds of order placement, assuming no system delays.

Order Updates & Communication

Customers are notified via email if there are changes to their order (such as shipping updates or cancellations). Admins can also view or resend confirmation emails from the order page.
