Overview

Each Business in SellStack 365 Cannabis may have one or more user accounts associated with it. These users are able to place orders, view Business-specific pricing and history, and manage their own logins. Administrators control who has access to which Business.

How Users Are Added

Users may be added to a Business through two main methods:

  • ERP Sync: If user records (contact cards) are linked to a customer card in Business Central 365 Cannabis, they are automatically synced into SellStack and attached to the correct Business.
  • Manual Admin Entry: Admins can add users manually in the SellStack Admin Panel if permitted by configuration.

Manual User Creation

To add a user manually:

  1. Navigate to Admin Panel > Businesses
  2. Search and select the target Business
  3. Click the Users tab
  4. Click Add New User and enter the required details (name, email, permissions)
  5. Optionally trigger a welcome email or set a password manually

Permissions & Roles

  • All users assigned to a Business inherit its pricing, channel, and ERP linkage
  • Some configurations may support role-based access (e.g., ordering vs. viewing only)
  • Switching Business access is only possible for users assigned to multiple active Businesses

Self-Registration Rules

By default, SellStack does not allow customers to self-register or add themselves to a Business. However, some storefronts may be configured to permit:

  • Invite-based access (e.g., via approval workflows)
  • Limited self-onboarding via verified email domains or form validation

Removing Users

To remove a user from a Business:

  • Navigate to the Business’s Users tab
  • Click the remove (✖) or deactivate option next to their name
  • Confirm changes — this will prevent further login access under that Business

ERP Sync Consideration

If users are managed through ERP, do not delete them directly in SellStack unless your sync flow is one-way or detached. Otherwise, ERP changes will override local edits.
