What Is a Business Account?

In SellStack 365 Cannabis, every customer is linked to a Business entity — representing the licensed purchaser (e.g., a dispensary, clinic, or wholesale client). This Business account stores legal identifiers, billing addresses, associated users, and ordering permissions.

Admin Access

Administrators can view and manage Business accounts through the Admin Panel under the Businesses section. From here, you can:

  • Search by name, contact, or license number
  • View account status (active, suspended)
  • See associated users and impersonate accounts
  • Edit business metadata such as billing information, assigned channel, or license number

Customer View

When customers log in, they are automatically scoped to the Business assigned to their account. If a user is associated with more than one Business, they will be prompted to select which Business to operate under before entering the storefront.

Multiple Business Support

  • A single user can be assigned to multiple Businesses (e.g., regional buyers, umbrella groups)
  • Each Business has its own product access, pricing, and channel assignment
  • Orders and payment status are scoped per Business — there is no cross-Business cart sharing

Common Admin Tasks

  • Update address or contact info for regulatory compliance
  • Temporarily suspend ordering access for an inactive account
  • Add or remove users (see “Adding Users to a Business”)
  • Review order history, payment activity, or assigned Lots

ERP Sync Notes

Business records are typically synced from Business Central 365 Cannabis. Any changes made in SellStack may be overwritten unless the sync is one-way or locked at the ERP level. Always coordinate edits with your ERP admin team.
