How to Log In Print

SellStack 365 Cannabis is an Application Instance Service (AIS)-based e-commerce ERP integrated platform that supports both B2B and B2C login workflows. Depending on your role, you will either log in as a Customer or as an Admin.

FOR CUSTOMERS

Customers (typically buyers from licensed businesses) must be pre-authorised via 365 Cannabis (usually by a sales administrator) before accessing the storefront. Self-registration is not enabled by default, but may be configured for certain use cases such as direct-to-consumer storefronts or hybrid models.

  • You will receive an invitation email from SellStack when your Contact account is created in 365 Cannabis and therefore recognized in SellStack.
  • The invitation includes two actions: email verification and password setup.
  • After completing both steps, you may log in at yourdomain.com.

Customer login credentials:

  • Username: Your verified email address
  • Password: Set during the activation process

FOR ADMINS

Administrators access the SellStack 365 Cannabis Admin Panel via a separate secured login URL:

  • Navigate to yourdomain.com/admin ("/admin" may be modified for your SellStack admin instance)
  • Use the credentials issued by your system administrator

Admin accounts are managed internally and are not provisioned through 365 Cannabis. If you require access to the Admin Panel, please contact your system administrator or IT department.

Customer Login Across Multiple SellStack Instances (MEO)

In a Multi-Entity Organization (MEO) configuration, customer accounts are scoped to the specific SellStack instance. A customer signed up in one instance (e.g., Michigan) does not automatically gain access to another instance (e.g., New Jersey). Cross-instance SSO for end-customers is not provided.

What carries over between instances?
  • Does not carry over: sign-in session, cart contents, order history, saved addresses, price lists/terms, compliance and taxation.
  • Instance-specific: each storefront maintains its own data and policies per jurisdiction and ERP Company mapping.
Expected behaviour when following links between stores
  • Customers moving from one instance to another will be prompted to sign in on the destination instance.
  • If the customer does not yet have an account in the destination instance, they must be invited/approved there before they can transact.
How to enable a customer to access another instance
  1. In 365 Cannabis ERP, ensure the Business and relevant Contact exist in the ERP Company that maps to the destination SellStack instance.
  2. Allow the standard sync to publish the customer record to the destination SellStack instance.
  3. In SellStack Admin → Customers (destination instance), review visibility/approval and send an invitation to activate.

Note: Production and UAT environments may have different domains and approval flows. Confirm the target environment before sending invitations.

Administrator Cross-Instance SSO (MEO)

Administrators benefit from SellStack’s cross-instance Single Sign-On (SSO) within an MEO structure. Once authenticated in one linked instance, administrators can move between other linked instances without repeated sign-ins, subject to their assigned roles and permissions in each instance.

Key points
  • Admins only: Cross-instance SSO applies to administrator accounts; it is not available to end-customers.
  • Domain-specific: Begin the session on the correct mapped domain for the instance being accessed.
  • Permissions remain per instance: SSO does not grant access; roles/permissions must be configured in each instance.
  • Environment awareness: Production and UAT often have separate domains and SSO mappings.
Troubleshooting (administrators)
  1. Verify you are on the correct instance domain (Production vs UAT, correct region).
  2. Confirm your administrator role exists in the destination instance.
  3. If prompted to sign in again, your session may be expired or you may be on an unmapped domain.
  4. Check that the instances are linked under the same MEO and that SSO is enabled as per internal configuration.

Reference: Instance-Scoped vs Cross-Instance Behaviour

Topic Customers Administrators
Cross-instance SSO No Yes (within linked MEO instances)
Account scope Per instance Per instance (roles/permissions), SSO eases navigation
Carts & order history Per instance N/A
Pricing & terms Per instance N/A
Domains Must sign in on each instance’s domain Begin on correct mapped domain; session propagates across linked instances
Environment (Prod/Staging) Separate accounts/approvals per environment Separate SSO mappings per environment
